Introduction to Job Management

When a job is requested through BOAhub, the following customer details are automatically populated: customer name (the company you are working for), contact name, email address, contact number, order number, and customer address. Additionally, you can pull the current location and use the "go to maps" function for easy navigation.

The Asset Details section includes important information like the Asset ID, serial number, make and model, and asset hours. These details help display the asset schematics & areas during hose assembly. When a job is requested through app, this information is filled in by the customer on the job card.

Record the urgency, job description, photos, and scheduled date and time. Assign a mechanic & document all job components, including hose assemblies, inventory parts, and non-BOA items. Track travel and labor costs, add notes, & include additional images as needed to ensure comprehensive documentation and smooth workflow management.

To create a digital hose version, follow these steps: specify the hose, Fitting #1, and Ferrule #1 (if needed). Add Fitting #2 and Ferrule #2 (if needed). Set the overall length and orientation (if angled fittings are used). Include any adapters and BOM position/quantity. Choose to assemble now or later.

Job statuses in BOAhub include New Request, In Progress, Completed, Invoiced, Archived, & Deleted. New requests start the process, in-progress jobs are being worked on, & completed jobs have PDFs & products added. Completed jobs can revert to In Progress, but Invoiced jobs cannot.
