What is the BOApod? 

The BOApod is an all-weather, all-terrain mobile unit that enables the user to assemble and repair hydraulic hoses for heavy machinery users wherever, whenever!  

What are the Features of the BOApod? 

Our unique on-site solution for hydraulic hose repair and maintenance, the BOApod, is purpose-built for the onsite, safe, and efficient assembly of hydraulic hoses. Step inside our Virtual Experience today.

2. Sustainable: Since we care about the environment, we added a large stow drawer where you can put the old hoses from the site and you can keep it here.  
3. Great braking system. This is built to a high standard with a focus on toughness, durability, and long-lasting use so that you can depend on its performance. 
4. Another Storage: Underbody lockable storage.  
5. Hose Reel: It is safe and easy to use since it’s a remote-controlled, electrically operated hose handling system with zero back strain. 
6. 12V Cut-off Saw: This cut-off saw is mounted on slide out with a support tray. It has a slide-out platform for hose measuring and cutting 
7. Electric cabinet 12v battery switchboard isolator switch. Charge controller 240v inverted smart device 
8. Plastic sealed & lockable oil tray and storage cabinet.

1. Solar Panel Charging System - The BOApod uses safe low voltage to power the machinery, with a built-in Solar Panel on the roof for charging. 
2. We added an overhead stow compartment to keep the spare hoses safe and clean. 
3. For your safety, we also included a Fire extinguisher. 
4. 12v Air Compressor for the Projectile Launch Kit. We also added a tool storage. 
5. Underbody lockable storage boxes 
6. Divided drawer cabinet with a large fitting storage, integrated with the BOAhub inventory management system. 
7. We included a side-out workbench to keep hoses from contamination from touching the ground while assembling hoses. 
8. Power Tires: Tandem 14”x85 mud grip tyres and robust steel rims. 
9. Uniflex Hose Crimping Machine: 12v crimper mounted on slide out support tray for easier access and use. 
10. Slide out heavy-duty work vice 
11. Crimper die rack and assembly holder. 
12. The gullwing door has weather protection and has in-built 12V LED work lamps which is powered by the Solar Panel.

After about 3 months we decided that was it, buy one. We basically do everything from General servicing through to major component overhauls and refurbs. Got a workshop in town that we bring things back to and do complete rebuilds there, but a lot of our stuff we can do on site we set up completely mobile. So we got two service Utes and a truck. So our furthest customers we service basically 300K in all directions

AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY

I saw this idea wanted to jump on it and help service us with our own gear, but also now with the mechanical business as well. It helps us out on that side of it and helps any other Farmers or anyone with earthmoving gear or Ag gear. Also, instead of using pen and paper with oily hands and stuff like that, we just scan the barcode on there and use what we have (BOAhub) and then, yeah tell us what we've used and what to order next.

I'd say, this is probably top of the line compared to any of sort that we've ran in the past. The key feature would be the automatic reels rolling out into the saw and, mind you, the drawers are pretty good themselves. As well as being all labeled up and bagged as well. Keeps everything nice and tidy and clean, ensuring there's no contamination on any of the gear we work on. The background support from BOA has been great.

We've put some tools in place with BOA that have helped us out with even stock replacement. The app (The BOAhub) that BOA has, it's less time for me tracking stock numbers and making sure that everything's been reordered it's all ready to go.  They are excellent businesses to work with. They've been very supportive of every direction I've needed to go in or wanted to go in and very helpful for any challenges that we've had. 

Southern Explosives 

So far BOAhub (hydraulic management system) has been really easy to use. BOA supply us with tags and every hose that we make it gets a unique ID and if that hose is to blow again or wear again and need replacing. We've also found that if we are working in tight spaces, we can just take the trailer off and we can still access to remove hoses and then we can go back up to the trailer to repair them. It's easy to use everything's laid out really well. It tows really nicely.  

EARTHMOVING & ROADING INDUSTRY

You can definitely build anything, cheaper 100% but it's the long-term goal you to look at. The biggest thing I find is, it's not just probably the quality of BOA, it's when we make a hose, it's so easy for the boys. They you know, they get their phone out, they take a picture of their barcode. There's no paperwork, there's no using all the fittings, and forgetting to reorder. It's done there and then.

Before we had the trailer (The BOApod) onsite we lost a lot of downtime. The service we had prior to having the trailer was great. It is more the travel and downtime. 45 minutes in and 45 minutes back. Now that we have the trailer onsite, we are able to do a lot of maintenance on our hydraulic hoses.

In a month, we are spending 25 to 30k. Now, between four and a half to five (thousand) max. It's quite a big saving to be honest. We're happy as. The trailer (The BOApod) is working for us.
